Several new trains have been introduced in the past years.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<img class=\"alignleft\" style=\"width: 150px;\" src=\"http:\/\/uzbekintour.com\/images\/150px_Railway_StationTashkent_Night.gif\" alt=\"Railway Station Tashkent Night View\" \/><br \/>\nThe main line <span class=\"date\">Tashkent &#8211; Samarkand &#8211; Bukhara<\/span> is served by two express trains named &#8220;Registon&#8221; and &#8220;Sharq&#8221;.<br \/>\nThe &#8220;Registon&#8221; brings you from Tashkent in 3h30min to Samarkand and the &#8220;Sharq&#8221; makes the <span class=\"date\">600-km-journey<\/span> Tashkent &#8211; Bukhara (with intermediate stop in Samarkand) in about <span class=\"date\">6,5<\/span> hours.<br \/>\n<img class=\"alignright\" style=\"width: 150px;\" src=\"http:\/\/uzbekintour.com\/images\/150px_Railway_Station_Samarkand.gif\" alt=\"Railway Station Samarkand\" \/><br \/>\nA daily overnight train from Tashkent to Bukhara offers the possibility to travel during the night and win one day.<br \/>\n<img class=\"alignleft\" style=\"width: 150px;\" src=\"http:\/\/uzbekintour.com\/images\/150px_Railway_Station_Bukhara.gif\" alt=\"Railway Station Bukhara.gif\" \/><br \/>\nComfortable sleeping cars allow a good sleep. Overnight trains also run from Tashkent and Samarkand to Urgench (<span class=\"date\">3<\/span> times weekly) and to Nukus &#8211; Kungrad (<span class=\"date\">2<\/span> times weekly), so it&#8217;s also possible to travel to Khiva (<span class=\"date\">30<\/span> kilometers from Urgench, taxi\/bus available) or to the Aral lake (Moynaq, <span class=\"date\">70<\/span> km from Kungrad) by train.<br \/>\n<img class=\"alignright\" style=\"width: 150px;\" src=\"http:\/\/uzbekintour.com\/images\/150px_Railway_Train_Interier_Window.gif\" alt=\"Railway Train Interier Window\" \/><br \/>\nInternational trains are available to Almaty in Kazakhstan, Moscow, Ufa, Celjabinsk, St. Peterburg, Novosibirsk in Russia (so you can link to the Transsiberian railway) and to Kharkov in Ukraine.<br \/>\n<img class=\"alignleft\" style=\"width: 150px;\" src=\"http:\/\/uzbekintour.com\/images\/150px_Railway_Train_Interier.gif\" alt=\"Railway Train Interier\" \/><br \/>\nFrom Almaty connecting trains are provided to Urumchi in China.
